Luton Town are among the sides currently interested in want-away Aston Villa forward Keinan Davis.
Villa’s 25-year-old spent last season on loan with Watford scoring seven goals across 34 appearances.
The striker made his Villa debut in 2015, however despite his promising potential has only scored six goals for the club in 86 games.
This poor record has left him on the fringe at Villa Park, with multiple forwards above him, as the club target alternatives also.
This has meant – with a year left on his contract – Davis is now seeking a new club for which he could be a first team regular.
With a host of Championship clubs interested, Luton Town have also reportedly put themselves forward as a potential buyer.

Luton keen on Davis
The Hatters are in need of a striker and are looking toward Davis to fill that role. The link has some backing too, as Davis has previously worked with Luton boss Rob Edwards last season at Watford.
According to The Athletic, Villa are prepared to negotiate with clubs for Davis, but would expect a package somewhere around £4million to £7m.
Davis didn’t travel to the USA with Villa and has remained in the UK to prepare himself for a potential transfer.
The 25-year-old is an England Under-20 international scoring two in three caps for the side.
He also played a role in Nottingham Forest’s Premier League promotion in 2021-22 as he scored five in 22.
Luton will however realise that the season is only two weeks away, making getting the right signings in asap, a necessity if Luton are to stay in the Premier League.
