Glen Rea has left Luton Town after seven years and 174 appearances for the club across that time, he has left a cult hero.
In March 2016, Rea joined the club in League Two on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, linking up with former manager Nathan Jones.
10 appearances in his first spell with the club, saw the Hatters bring him in on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The defender spent three spells away from Kenilworth Road with Woking, Wigan Athletic and Cheltenham Town.
The former Republic of Ireland youth international was part of the side that achieved League Two promotion and won a League One title.
Sadly he has suffered with injuries over his time with the club, but none the less has made a mark as the club made the Premier League.
What has Glen Rea said?
His career at the club has spanned four leagues and an unbelievable upwards trajectory.
On his lengthy spell at the club he said: “I think club has touched me that much. It’s going to be part of my life forward as well as it has been for the past seven-and-half years.”
He has been a part of the squad and will go down in folklore.
The spell with Luton has changed his support: “I’m a Brighton fan, but I went to Brighton in the Luton end and that was like the switch ‘wow, I’m Luton here’.”

The injuries he has suffered, he wouldn’t change: “I’m thankful for everything that’s happened in that time, the good, the bad, the ugly because it has been ugly at times.
“But I’m so grateful for every experience I’ve had. I don’t regret anything and it’s made me who I am today.”
A true Luton Town cult hero and good luck to him in the future.
