Mads Andersen has been discussing the differences between the Premier League and League One as himself and his teammates adapt.

Andersen signed for the Hatters from Barnsley this summer and has featured in every game in league and cup this season.

Two full games against West Ham United and Gillingham, the Dane is coming up to speed with his new side.

The Dane scored his first goal for Luton at Kenilworth Road against the Hammers.

Prior to joining Town, Andersen had only played in League One and the Danish Superligaen.

This meaning the Premier League is easily the highest level he has featured in.

What has Mads Andersen said?

When discussing the difference in level, he said: “The players are coming towards me very, very fast, so that’s just something I’ve got to adapt to quickly.”

It isn’t just something that Andersen has to get used to, plenty of his teammates are playing in the league for the first time.

On that point, he said: “We feel it, I always think coming from playing in League One for Barnsley and they played in the Championship, we’ve all got to adapt to the tempo.

“You can see that it’s coming slowly, people are adapting, so it’s good.”

With plenty of new players and coming in, everyone is having to learn.

On that point, Andersen said: “We’re playing top players and I’m just excited to be out there, doing my best and trying to learn as much as possible.

“You can see it already, we’re improving every game, we’re just going to keep going.”

The mindset at the Kenny is top class right now as all the players look to develop and improve as they search for that first win.
