Luton Town manager, Rob Edwards has said that new signing Teden Mengi has performed well in training and could make his debut.
The defender signed for the Hatters from Manchester United on an undisclosed fee after 15 years at Old Trafford.
He did spent two loan spells away from the Red Devils with Derby County and Birmingham City.
Over the two loans he made just 18 appearances over two years which saw United let him go this summer.
Despite having limited senior football on his CV he is a promising young talent.
With some consistent game time he could realise his potential.

What has Rob Edwards said about Teden Mengi?
Edwards had clearly been in search of some defensive reinforcement and brought in Mengi late in the window.
On the defender, the manager said: “He’s a fantastic age, already, he’s a real physical specimen as well, but he has had one or two issues in the past so we’ve got to make sure that he’s ready.
“He’s looking really, really good at the moment.”
It is encouraging to hear that the youngster is doing well, that is for sure.
There is no rush to get him playing however: “There’s not as much pressure on him to have to come in and play, but he’s looking very, very good and he’s certainly in the mix.”
With only one left sided centre back at the club, Mengi may find himself thrown in earlier than expected.
On that point, he said: “He can do any of those three slots. That’s why we were really keen to bring him to the club.
“He’s a very, very talented young player, athletically looks brilliant, and he’s really going to suit us.”
A good signing for a cheap fee, hopefully he lives up to his own high standards.
