Luton Town forward, Jacob Brown has said that the dressing room believes they have what it takes to maintain Premier League status.

A 1-0 loss to Fulham at the weekend saw the Hatters succumb to their fourth league defeat in a row since promotion.

They now remain the only side in the league without a point, in spite of some positive performances in recent weeks.

Jacob Brown signed from Stoke City this summer and has made a good impression so far for his new team.

The striker smashed the post against header with a bullet header, the finest of margins between points and a defeat.

What has Jacob Brown said?

Although three losses on the bounce sounds negative, it isn’t effecting the players.

On their chances of survival, Brown said: “There is a massive belief in the changing room.

“Like we’ve just said in there, I think apart from the result, we couldn’t have asked for much more than that.”

The fans so far remain happy with the performances, and continue to give their support moving forward.

On his huge chance, the striker said: “If my chance goes in obviously it’s a different score line, but yes, the belief is high and we’ve just got to go on to next week.

“It was a great ball from Issa and I made a good connection, probably too good.”

It was a tough moment for Brown, especially given the loss but it isn’t effecting his mindset.

“I’ve just seen it come off the post and obviously it’s disappointing, but you’ve just got to move on from it.”

An unfortunate loss for the Hatters but the mindset is great at the club and they will continue to push.
