Luton Town defender Mads Andersen has come out against the penalty decision in a 1-0 loss to Fulham this weekend.
The game finished 1-0, condemning the Hatters to their fourth loss in as many Premier League games.
Carlos Vinicius scored the all important winning goal, like a fox in the box, tapping in after Thomas Kaminski’s parry.
The result could have been so different however as Luton fans and players felt that they should have had a penalty.
Harrison Reed brought down Carlton Morris in the area, off the ball, as Albert Sambi Lokonga’s free kick came in.
Despite fans and players thinking it was a clear foul, referee Michael Salisbury wasn’t moved and the game continued.

What has Mads Andersen said?
It was clear that Town felt that it was a penalty and were aggrieved not to be awarded.
When asked about his opinion, the Dane said: “Oh yes, I think it’s obvious.”
No holding back from the defender who revealed a conversation with Morris he had on the pitch: “Carlton told me, he’s only looking at him, Carlton is not engaging with him at all
“He’s just bumped into him, so it’s obviously not good enough.”
The decision ultimately changed the game in favour of the home side.
This issue was highlighted by the new man: “t’s very frustrating really, because that could be a penalty for us and if we score the header with Brown that hits the post, we’re leading 2-0 at half time.”
Its a game of fine margins and the luck seems to be against the Hatters, but the chances are coming and points will follow.
